| 7/22/08 -- Sign Up for ACA Tumbling Camps Now |
 Each camp will be broken up by both age and level so athletes get the most out of their training. Perfect for the most beginning tumbler all the way up to the most advanced.
Come to one camp or come to all three! Bring your friends and get ready for three days of FUN.
Camp Dates:
Camp 1: August 5, 6, 7 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.
Camp 2: August 12, 13, 14 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.
Camp 3: August 19, 20, 21 9:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.

| 7/22/08 -- Platinum Family Picnic -- This Weekend! |
 Who: All Platinum athletes and their friends and family!
What: It will be an afternoon of good food, great company, games and tons of fun.
When: Saturday, July 26th from 12-2:30 p.m.
Where: Santa Anita Park at the corner of Santa Anita and Huntington. Look for the blue easy-ups.
Why: It’s time to get to know your fellow cheerleaders and their families!
What to bring: Platinum will provide hot dogs and hamburgers. We ask that the following teams bring these items:
Gems/ Rubies: Dessert
Sapphires/ Jade: Side Dish
Emeralds/ Titanium: Drinks
Gold: Dessert or Side Dish |

| 6/24/08 -- Platinum Family Beach Day -- This Saturday! |
 Platinum’s Family Beach Day is this Saturday, June 28th! We will all be meeting at Huntington Beach at 10 a.m.! We expect beach day to wrap up around 2 or 3 p.m. So bring your family and friends (and sunscreen!) for a fun day at the beach. To get to Huntington Beach from the gym, take the 210-E to the 605-S. Merge onto the 405-S toward San Diego. Exit Beach Blvd. Beach Blvd will dead end at Huntington State Beach. We will be at lifeguard tower 15. Due to beach day, the Gems, Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds will NOT have practice.

| 4/21/08 -- Platinum Scores 2 National Championships, Sportsmanship Award!!!! |
Platinum’s Junior and Senior A teams both blew away their competition this weekend at the American Championships, and were named National Champions! The Senior B team was presented with the highest award American Championships gives out: The Sportsmanship Award! This award means we will be featured in American Cheerleader Magazine and money will be sent in Platinum’s name to a cancer fund. (Not to mention we got a banner and a trophy taller than all of us!)
And we can't forget our littlest competitors! The Youth team performed two completely flawless routines and took home a huge 4th place trophy. The Mini team took home a very respectable 6th place in their tough division, and looked amazing on the floor. |

| 3/31/08 -- Platinum's Junior Team Named National Champs in Vegas!!! |
What a weekend!!! Platinum's Junior team beat out 15 other teams from around the country to be named National Champions in Las Vegas. More details and pictures (in their championship jackets) to come. Great job everyone!!!

| 3/31/08 -- Minis Place 5th in the Nation! |
 The Platinum Minis snagged 5th place at nationals in Las Vegas, in an extremely tough division of 18 teams!!! More pictures to come!

3/13/08 -- Senior B Team Places 4th in the Nation in Orlando!!! |
Our Senior B team (and the coaches) are currently very tiredly making their way back home from Orlando where they competed in the National All Star Cheerleading Championships, and placed fourth in the country. They did AMAZING, showing off two nearly flawless routines. It was an unbelievable week, with practices, competition, championship parties and probably too much fun in the Walt Disney World parks.
